Life on the Island
For five years, the owners have spared no expense in transformimg this private island and its impressive buildings into what can easily be regarded as a first class getaway. Five buildings, totalling 15,000 square feet, have been constructed on the island. The main house at the centre of the island is the largest at 5,000 square feet. Each of the buildings was constructed with the finest European and American materials. For example, the 30 foot high cypress cathedral ceiling brings a feeling of majesty to the main building.
The guest rooms are located in the three bungalows surrounding the main house, totalling 8 double rooms that can be rented for up to 14 guests. In the residences, each of the suites have been carefully constructed. The king size master suite contains a unique central glass shower and a bathtub for two, all in a setting of granite imported from Brazil. There is a very unique feel to each of the six queen size guest rooms. Each has a special name, colourful decor and a view of either the Sea of Abaco or the Atlantic Ocean or both. All rooms, as well as the main house, have air conditioning. All of the spacious rooms have their own private bathrooms, with large vanities.
The professional gourmet kitchen has been designed to present the finest cuisine. Elegant French, spicy Asian, tropical Bahamian or tasty American are all served. Emphasis is placed on fresh local seafood. With prior notice to your arrival, your every culinary request will be turned into reality
